오전에 전화드리고 다시 질문 올립니다.

제가 사용하는 보드는 mv2440 이구요
사용 OS는 리눅스 입니다

설치 문서를 통해서 SD/MMC를 포함한 커널 컴파일은 하였습니다.

에서 smdk2440a 를 불러온후

MMC/SD Card Support --->

<*> Block device (Memory Card) support (NEW)

[root@localhost mv2440]# make dep
[root@localhost mv2440]# make zImage

의 과정을 통해서 생성된 zImage를 tftp를 통해서 보드에 다운로드 하였습니다.

이후 부팅을 해서 마운트를 하려고 했는데요
s3c2440a_help.chm 을 참조하자면
보드의 root filesystem에 /dev/mmc 라는 장치 파일이 존재하는데
막상 부팅후 /dev 파일을 찾아보면 그런 파일이 없네요..

파일 시스템을 잘못 설치한건지..
아니면 따로 추가를 해주어야 하는건지
